Churchill Park Community Garden - sustainable, healthy food in the city

About Us

Churchill Park Community Gardens rents garden plots to residents of the Hamilton area. We operate as a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group of McMaster University (OPIRG) on a lease from the City of Hamilton. We are located at the Teaching Gardens in Churchill Park in the Westdale area of Hamilton, which we share with the Hamilton Aviary.

For general administrative purposes, contact us at churchillparkcg@gmail.com

For membership inquiries, see below.

Our Goal

We provide garden space, equipment, supplies, education and cooperative assistance to allow members to grow their own organic food in a sustainable manner and to enjoy the pleasures of gardening on every level - physical, educational, aesthetic and spiritual.

CPCG gratefully acknowledges the support of Canadian Tire Dundas for their help in acquiring new tools at cost. We urge our members to support our sponsors. Shopping locally promotes healthy communities and reduces your environmental footprint.

Membership and Plot Rental

Our 85 plots are currently all rented. If you would like to be informed about opportunities to rent next year, please send an email message with your name, address and email address to churchillparkcg@gmail.com. We will send you information in the late autumn about available plots.
